Building Literacy Skills

Across Our Regions

The Adult Learning Network is one of 16 learning networks across Ontario that provide local service planning and coordination for Ontario's Literacy and Basic Skills program.

The Ontario Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) program helps adults gain the foundational skills they need to succeed in everyday life and pursue personal and professional goals. This includes reading, writing, math, computer skills, communication, and problem-solving.

Peel-Halton-Dufferin Adult Learning Network brings together LBS providers across our region to share resources, expertise, best practices. This collaborative approach helps us better serve adult learners and strengthen our communities.
